i go through periods where poetry is very distant to me. right now is one of them. i think it happens when i’m changing. when i’m developing some part of me. poetry is for when i’m sitting deep in some emotion or reflecting on moments. right now, i feel like i’m moving through many emotions, many moments in an effort to get somewhere new. i like the reunion with poetry. the feeling of coming home. the connection with old poems in new ways. the connection with new poems in old ways
