I woke up, screaming in the night while at the same time gasping for breath, I will tell you that is so not a good combination. When I was finally able to breath normal again I felt arms around me, I jumped out of the arms that were holding me and looked at the man, oowh it was HIM. âyouâre alright?â he asked me. âI will be if you give me a shotâ. I really needed a shot you wouldnât know how it felt, it felt like you were in a dessert while dying from the thirst and nowhere water close to you. That but then a thousand times worse. âElena⊠I canât you know that, you are here to kick offâ.  NO he wasnât going to give me nothing, he wouldnât he would not and I repeat NOT do this to me. I was already beginning to sweat, but now, now I was dying from the inside. âPlease , I need itâ I said to him in a desperate voice. I would do anything for a shot at this point.
He bit his lip, while looking at the dagger. He had never even held a dagger and now he suddenly had to be careful with it? Creon wasnât clumsy, per se, but he wasnât sure if the dagger would survive if he actually had to use it, even though it didnât look like itâd break by every single touch. âEverything is going to be fine. Iâll get you out here safe,â Raidan said. It made Creon smile a little and it actually did help. Even though he was still a little sceptic about his statement, Raiâs confident words made him feel better. He raised his eyebrows at what he said next, though. He was still working on it? What was that supposed to mean? Creon wasnât sure whether he should feel better, because Rai was working on a plan, or worse, because he didnât have a plan yet. If this wouldâve been his own castle, Creon would probably have already come up with a plan to get away from wherever they were and to his parents or to some guards or something, he knew his castle perfectly. He also knew heâd sound annoying and full of himself if he had pointed this out, so he just stayed silent. The rather confident feeling he had, disappeared completely after Raidan had finished his pep-talk. Creon frowned and bit his lip; he was at a loss for words at the moment. He just walked behind Rai in silence. The young boy didnât like feeling this helpless, this insecure. He wasnât used to that feeling. Of course he wasnât, I mean, he usually just stayed in his own castle and even if he was somewhere else, he never ran into armed men, probably out to kill him. His eyes found their way back to the dagger again. It was beautiful, it almost seemed a sin to use such a gorgeous piece of weaponry. The weapon made him feel a little better, just like Raiâs words had done, but it wasnât much. He wasnât sure how to use it, but he had his own little trick on hand, though he hoped not to have to use it. His parents always told him not to show his âabilityâ, as his parents always called it. Creon had never understood why, though, he wasnât ashamed of his ability to shift shape, why were they? He felt like it was something to be proud of, but as the well raised lad he was, he never argued about it. Raidan opened the door and gestured for Creon to go through first, but the sight he was met with was not what he had expected. Two of the armed men were standing there and as soon as they noticed who had opened the door, they aimed their gun-like weapons at the two boys. Creon, being the first to walk through, noticed them first. He was about to stumble back because of surprise, but then he realised something; he didnât have to act like the fragile princess that had to be saved by her lovely prince Charming, he had actually just thought of the perfect solution; his shape shifting. He pushed the dagger back into Raiâs hands. âHold this for me,â he commanded. Commanding was something he wasnât used to either, but who cares, if he would have to explain to Raidan what he was going to do, they would probably be dead by the time he was finished. The armed men looked a little surprised when Creon started walking towards them, but they didnât look scared, so they obviously didnât notice the change in the young boyâs nails. Within five seconds he had made his short, neat nails grow into six inches long and awfully sharp claws. âStay there,â one of the men said, now noticing what Creon had done, âDo not move.â Creon just raised an eyebrow at that and smiled innocently, before he lashed out with the claws and hit the menâs hands, causing them to drop the weapons immediately. The men stumbled back a little, staring at Creon with a look of horror, but said boy jumped forward. Without thinking, he had stabbed the man closest to him in his side. âDidnât your mum ever teach you that itâs not polite to stare?â he asked, still acting rather innocent for someone whose nails are digging in someoneâs side. The man then started coughing up blood. Creon, disgusted by the sound, pulled his nails out of the guy and let him fall onto the marble floor. The other guy, the boy now noticed, was running away, yelling for back-up. âWe should probably start moving,â Creon said, turning to Raidan. Â
