Deze middag was het vreemd geweest, Clara was zoals altijd naar Monet's geweest waar ze gehoopt had om met haar beste vrienden te praten over de shitty dingen die nu gaande waren. Tot Clara haar verbazing, zijn zowel Madison als Matt niet op komen dagen. Ze hadden ook niks laten horen wat al helemaal vreemd was. Ze spreken daar altijd af na school, en als een van hun niet kan geven ze het altijd door aan elkaar. "You really deserve it though, you're truly passionate about msuic." vervolgde ze.

Alleen bij Shawn voelde ze zich nog prettig, en was alles nog redelijk normaal. Voor de rest begon alles langzaam naar beneden te komen. Wat begon als een goede start, transformeert langzamerhand, stukje bij beetje, in een nachtmerrie.

I know the idea sounds scary, people watching and listening to you, but it's kind of cool actually" zei ze. "I used to perform at my old school so now and then, and I would look up so it, I would be so nervous, but the moment I step on a stage, everything changes" legde ze uit. "Besides that, as your personal advisor and mentor, I'll ofcourse attend all of your concerts to support you" grinnikte ze.
