en de prof had dit voorgesteld:
Silk weaving, one of vietnam's oldest and best-known traditions, is still alive and well (I’m not sure if the expression ‘alive and well’ is used for tradtions) in the streets of Ho Chi Minh today.

maar ze weet dus niet of dat wel zo gezegd wordt, iemand suggesties?

Het is geen super academische uitdrukking, maar voor een informele tekst of artikel is dat geen probleem. Een alternatief zou "thriving" zijn. ^^
Stuur je tekstje maar door als je wil! Ik ga eerst eten, maar over een uur ofzo heb ik normaal wel tijd

Ik heb het even nagekeken, en je kan zelfs binnen academische artikels voorbeelden van "Tradition is alive and well", dus ik zou zeker niet zeggen dat het incorrect is
