Hii, voor Engels moest ik een korte fairytale schrijven over The Happy Prince iets. Het telt niet mee ofzo maar ik wil gewoon even weten of het duidelijk is wat ik bedoel :')
Dit heb ik geschreven:

Once upon a time there was a statue. It stood in the middle of the shopping plaza. It was called the Sad Prince, because the people around him had lots of negative thoughts. One day a cute little girl came by. Her name was Mia and she turned 6 last week. Her mother had left her alone when she refused to go into the store. Mia sat down next to the statue and she started to tell about her birthday. Suddenly she stopped talking, she had realized that no one was listening to her. But then the statue started talking. He said that he wanted to listen to her, he liked her good happy story. The little girl shined because of his compliment. She told him about her friends and family. Then her mother called her and Mia said bye and walked away.

The following days Mia visited the Sad Prince and cheered him up with her stories and sometimes a gift, like flowers. Each day the smile of the Prince became wider. The Prince looked forward to seeing Mia and he learned to see the good things around him. The people become suspicious, how did the Sad Prince turn into a ‘Happy Prince’? But that will always remain a secret.
