“My dearest friend,

I have carried this burden much longer then I intended to. I wanted to write this letter a long time ago, but never had the guts or words to do so. I feel as if it’s necessary to get this of my mind. For too long, this has bothered me, and I feel as if it is just getting too much.

I need to tell you that I am proud of you, for all of the things that you have done. You’ve come a long way from the girl that was so scared that everything new and anyone new, felt as if it was an enemy. And I want you to know, that you are loved. You are loved by so many people. People that have been in your life from the moment you can remember, and people that you have yet to meet. And most of all, you are good enough. No matter what you may think of yourself, and how much you wish to be perfect. I want you to know that your imperfections are what make you so perfect. They are what make you special and unique.

But let’s think about old times again. I remember you thinking that you would never reach your dreams, and therefore being afraid to try. I remember you thinking that you’ll never be the person you want to be, or, you feel you have to be. But I can tell you that you don’t need to be anyone but yourself. No matter how broken you are, there will be people how love you and adore you for who you are. You are so wonderful and it’s just a shame you can’t see it. Dare to be brave. Dare to be nobody but yourself. And dare to be the fearless, kind, and loving person that’s hiding deep down in you. Dare to be.
