“My love,” She whispered, sitting on the edge of Noah's bed. “I must leave you. I know you want me to stay, but I must leave now. I can't tell you why. God knows I wish I could but it would only hurt you more.” She brushed his tangled hair softly, trying not to wake him up. She let out a long sigh, cleared her throat and said “Good bye, my love.” And with that, she left.
What do you guys think? Ik had het ook in het Nederlands kunnen schrijven, maar ik schrijf liever Engelstalig :3

He could still hear the pain in her voice. Even after three years, he could still hear it, it was the sound of a heart breaking. Both his and hers. When he'd woken up that morning, thinking it had been a dream, he'd called out for her. “Ariel!” He'd shouted. “Ariel!” But no one had responded. After endlessly trying to call her, text her, to simply find anything that said she wasn't gone, he'd given up. That night wasn't a dream. She was gone, and she wasn't coming back. Everything about her, from the way her voice had cracked when she'd spoken, to the way she had barely touched him, as if afraid that if he'd wake up, he would have begged her to stay. To be fair, he would have. And when it came to Noah, Ariel couldn't say no. She loved him too much to hurt him, or even risking hurting him. It was as if a part of her would break if she ever did hurt him, and that night, she'd broken everything that made Ariel Ariel. Lovely, beautiful, kind Ariel. How he missed her still.
