Ekey and I spended the entire day talking about finding a loophole in this first round. Yesterday we talked with our entire team about how we are polar opposites from Lenathor and we spended hours trying to make that work in our favour. And when the words of Lenathors Elder left his mouth, I finally found the loophole I had been looking for all day.

Slowly the citizen get into the plaza and I look around to find Ekey but can't find him through the chaos of the crowd. Then I see her, a young women with golden, clothed in a white dress. Her face is bruised, her lips are sore and her face is pale. She stumbles over to me but doesn't greet me at all. I don't say a word to her either. I wonder if Lenathor got these citizen to volunteer of whether they made them do this. I mean, if Lenathor knows how to heal them, why not just do it themselves, why would they risk the lives of fifty citizens? Guess it turns out that even Lenathor is, in fact, a hypocrite.

"You can sit," I tell the wounded citizen as I see her almost faint. But before she hits the ground she already falls down without conscious. "Great," I murmur to myself. Instead of kneeling next to her, I walk around the plaza to find to Ekey. After walking around for a short bit, I find him sitting next to a older man. He smiles at him and is doing something to his neck that I don't know the science behind. I wonder if Ekey discovered the loophole he was hoping to find. I stand about 10 feet away from Ekey when we catch eye contact. He nods over to me, making sure he got the loophole. As I walk back to my own wounded citizen, there are already some red light flashes going up in the air. Fucking Lenathors. Bet they're gonna be all cocky 'cause they are done first, well guess what, it's your own Sisters power, of course you're gonna be done first.

The bloodpotions rickle in peace as I walk over to my citizen, as if they're trying to say I made the right choice, as if they're trying to tell me to be a true Fayralen. I kneel next to the citizen, who now got her conscious back. She looks at me, scared. "Don't be scared," I whisper into her ear. "You'll be fine." She looks up at the red flashes in the air and I silently grab the knife from my belt. "I'm gonna release you from the pain." When she sees the blade in my hand, she begins to panic. Her eyes are wild and she tries to get up, but I hold her down.

"I said, you'll be fine," I hiss through my teeth. The red lights in the air reflect in her eyes as I push my knife right through her heart. I hear her gasp for air when I pull the blade back. I drop her onto the ground and hear the audience gasp for like, just like the citizen did a second ago. I open the potionbottles and quickly gather some of her blood with the correct spells, making sure nothing gets wasted. I might be a Fayralen but at least I'm a respectful one.

When the young woman stops blinking, I check the pulse in her heart, which tells me she died. "Sed hic manere non periit," I whisper, as all Fayralen do when someone dies. It means something like be gone, yet stay here but no one knows the exact translation.

I walk over to where the Elder stood when he did his little cocky speech and I see that, I am last together with two young wizards from Tasina. Ouch. Besides, where did Ekey go?

Quickly I bend over to the ground, open the blood potion bottles. Before I spread her blood over my heads I whisper some spells, I draw a dot on my forehead and a small line on my chin, pointing to my nose. Then, I draw a perfectly round circle on the ground. While I am drawing certain symbols in and around the circle I murmur some more spells, that I know by heart now. When the circle is finished, I step back from it and bend on my knees, and bow my head. I repeat the same spells over and over again until.. The wind gets stronger, it gets colder and darker and not much longer I hear some people in the audience scream. "She's the devil!" I hear someone yell and when I look up, I know I succeeded.

The ghost of the girl I just murdered, stands in the middle of the circle. She turns around and looks up but doesn't say a word.

The Elder from Lenathor, quickly walks over to me and kicks in my side, meaning for me to stand up. "What in Heavens did you do?" He asks hastily to me. "Are you hurt, dear, are you okay?" He asks to the young women who is still standing in her small circle.

"I.. I am fine," she says amazed in a small whisper.

"Are you hurt? Are you hurting?" The Elder asks panicked.

"No, sir," she answers. "She did her tasks." She looks over to me.

I grin as the audience yells I didn't finish my task and that I killed her. "She should be eliminated!" Someone screams. "She failed!"

The Elder looks over to the ghost of the young woman, no longer hurting, no longer a bruised, pale face. "She.. She didn't exactly fail," he whispers but I think I am the only who can hear him.

"She took away my pain," the woman whispers to the man.

"'Congratulations, you have proven yourself worthy and have successfully finished Lenathors challenge," he says loud enough for everyone to hear. "You will be escorted by the citizen u healed towards the waiting house here in Lenathor."

I smile and gather my potion bottles as the audience goes crazy and calls me the Devil. The spirit fades away and no one - at least no one outside of Fayralen - will ever know that these where not the words from the young woman I just killed. It was just her form. Every ghost can take a dead girls shape.

As I get escorted into the waiting house where all the other contestants look either amazed, pissed or scared. They believe I should have been eliminated. I probably should have been. Lenathors teams look over to me with disgust in their eyes and I fake a smile. "Don't underestimate a Fayralen," I whisper as I walk through the crowd. When I finally find my own team, I sit next to them and watch the last two Tasina's struggle to cure their citizen. I can hear the other contestants murmur about Fayralen and I try to ignore them.

When the sun is right above the plaza the two Tasina's get eliminated and get send right back to the portal. I wonder where they're going. The Elders speaks up again and we all watch him through the broadcast screen. "Today, we got united here in Lenathor. We will say goodbye to two great Wizards from Tasina, as they are now eliminated." "Should have been three Wizards on the way to that portal," I hear the oldest woman from Lenathors team whisper into my ear from behind.

"You're telling me you don't agree on your dear Elder? What if mommy would hear that? She would be disappointed if the entirety of Lenathor could hear that during a live broadcast, wouldn't she?" I hiss back without even looking behind me to face her but keep staring at the screen. She takes a step back and I grin. "That's right."

When the Elder is done with his speech, we all head back to Oduldale. Back there we get time to relax, reflect at today's round or to prepare for whatever is next. I hide myself in our Wing because all the contestants keep looking at me and whispering about me. It's was a good first impression, they for sure won't forget me that quick.

I sit on a small wooden bench in our Wing when Ekey walks into the Wing as well. "What the fuck was that?" I yell as I jump up from the bench, over to him.

"Why the fuck did you kill someone!" He yells back, clearly not okay with the trick I pulled.

"Oh, fuck off! You were the one saying to find a loophole in the first place!" Reminding him of his words.
"I never meant to kill!"

"Oh, what? Are you a fucking Lenathor all of a sudden?" I scream back.

We both go directly silent when the other three wizards enter the Wing. Kancis heads straight to his room but Asim and Ehith look straight into my eyes. "Look," Ehith starts. "I didn't wanna call you out on the spot for everyone to hear, but you could have fucked it up for all of us," she says. "What if they figure out that wasn't her?"

"That wasn't her?" Ekey screams full volume.

"Ofcourse that wasn't her, she would've called me out!" I hiss.

"Of course she would! You killed her, Narru!" He screams.

I feel slightly panicked and am scared someone wil hear our conversation.

"Look, we just need to hide your little secret," Asim says in his quiet voice. "No one apart from the Fayralens there knows what actually happened. Lets keep it that way."

"Whats the worst thing that can happen when they find out? Eliminate me?" I ask in a smaller voice than I intended to.

"No, Narru, wake up. They'll kill you."
