The laughter she heard coming from him was enough to make her smile as well, he had a point, a good point even. The old man he spoke of was someone she didn't know, and she wasn't going to ask him about it either. She just kept her mouth shut, trying to keep the mood light and the emotions happy in the van. It didn't seem to take long before his face changed, showing little emotion, wich she couldn't quitte place. The thing he said about his uncle was enough explaination for her. She didn't know much about his uncle, nothing actually, besides the fact that he hated him. No response was made about the thing he said. How she was supposed to react was a mystery to her.
His silence was explained by the subject, she understood why he didn't say anything. What was he supposed to say? The inmates probably knew less about the apocalypse than others. When he started about the prison, she couldn't help but frown. 'Pieces of bone? Look, I've seen some crazy shit, but never have I seen anyone use a bone as a weapon.' It seemed to crazy, besides the apocalypse and the weapons she has seen so far. 'I've almost had my back broken with a piece of a door, but bones... You inmates are crazy.' Lachend vertelde ze het hem, de gebeurtenis waarover ze hem vertelde gedeeltelijk weggelachen. The part about the prisoners however, was a bit frightening, even though she wouldn't admit it. She was impressed by what he told her about his own weapon, as she could imagine, breaking a piece of metal wasn't the easiest thing to do. 'That is quitte impressive though, breaking metal.' She told him, as she smiled a bit.
His question made her smile slightly fade, as she didn't like to talk about it. For all she knew, he was part of one of the gangs, send out to find and kill her. A thought she wouldn't allow her mind to think of. It wasn't true, it couldn't be. He wouldn't have treated her that way if he was out to kill her. 'Stole it from gangs.' She started, as some laughter came out of her mouth. 'They always noticed after I left.' The more she said, the more the happy expression faded from her face. 'One gang caught me though, but I managed to escape again.' She shook her head a little. 'I don't think I need to ask you. The Dungeon is where you got your stuff, right?'
