Somehow it still surprised her that the brothers were capable of so much, and that they had acces to science that hadn’t even been known to man kind. A doctor had mended her back and even though it still felt a bit sore, it didn’t resembale the ravage it had been a few hours ago. Sadly enough, it did affect her sleep. She was still tired, but that didn’t seem to bother Samaël. Nothing really did, though. But going outside didnt seem like the worst case scenario.
Slowly she got of the bed, that reminded her of the beds they used to have in hospitals. Samaël was already at the door, wating for her to finally take some action and come with him. She tried to move as fast as she could, but her back still limited her in every move she tried to make. Yet, she managed to find her clothes. She turned away from Samaël, although he had seen almost every part of her body already, and changed into the workout gear they had provided for her. Lastly, she put her hair up in a ponytail and she was ready to go.
‘Okay, I’m ready,’ she told him. She looked back at the man who had cared for he wounds, but she wasn’t sure if she should thank him or not. He did help her, but not because he wanted to. Just because he was told to make her obtain her old status of a shiny new toy, so that Samäel had something to play with again. She decided to leave the room with a nod, hoping she would never have to face him, or this room and his weird medicinal remedies, again.
She followed him through the house. She wasn’t even sure where she was now, since the last time she had been able to walk, she had been in a completely different part of it. These hallways all seemed new, and so were the people that she saw. She wondered if Emrys was still around. And if so, where she would be. There was no question if she was safe, because no one was in this house. But she did hope that Emrys wasn’t hurt. That the eldest brother, Uriël, somehow had fine someone else to play with, leaving her alone.
They finally had reached the door that took them outside. Although, it wasn’t really outside. Even though they seemed to have a lot of ground around the house, they had made sure that no one was able to escape. The fences and walls went up for what seemed like miles, so that no one could climb up or jump over them.
‘What do you want me to do?’ Loué asked him. Since he had caused her so much pain, she rather just made sure that it wouldn’t happen again.
No one would be able to master their gift in such a short time. Certainly not someone as stubborn as Emrys. Uri had worked long enough with people who had gained the “gift” to know that it could take weeks, months and sometimes even years. He always tried to push them as hard as he could and that was what he wanted to do with Emrys. Emrys her gift, however, seemed to want to push her as well. It had a will of it’s own and it wasn’t ready to listen to her just yet. And most of the time, Uri would just shrug it off. But Emrys was dangerous. Her gift was dangerous.
The amount of water surprised him. The wave that had tackled him, and Emrys ahd brought them both to the groudn and millions of gallaeons of water washed of them, as if they were nothing. He mad a rash deciscion and tried to get inside her head, controlling her gift and ending it. He wasn’t sure if it worked, since the water kept flowing. He reached for Emrys her arm and psuhed her of him, so that he could swim to the door. Going up wasn’t an option anymore, they had to get out of the room. Luckily, the door to the hallway wasn’t that fare away.
With all of the energy he had left, he kicked the door open. The force of the water immediately pushed him forward, which caused his body to slam into the nearest wall. Luckily, the levle of the water slowly went down. When Uri finally could gasp for air, he was laying on the ground, Emrys not to far from him. He gasped and caughed, just as long as he need to get all of the water out of his lungs. Emrys however, seemed fine.
‘Fuck!’ Uri yelled out. If this could happen with Emrys, he wasn’t sure how to deal with it anymore. He wanted het to practice with her gift. He wanted her to make sure she was going to be in control of it, but how could she if this would keep happening? She was a danger fort he house and to everyone in it. But at the same time, Uri realised he had found a gem. If he could train Emrys, if she would fight for him, they would be unstoppable.
‘I’m running out of options to control that bitching gift of you, you know!’ he told Emrys. A part of him wanted to lock her up again, make her suffer. But when she was near water, it would find her. And it would, somehow, help her. So that wasn’t a option. And she did need to train. But how could she, without causing damage like this?
